Why do we ask for your contact information?
Providing contact information is optional. But if we have a way to reach you, we can follow up with you for additional information if needed. This can expedite the investigation of the reported safety hazard.
The sooner the matter is resolved, the safer for everyone!
However, it is understandable that you may not be comfortable attaching your contact information to your report. We’d rather have an anonymous tip than no tip at all.
