AITS supports the technology in 31 classrooms (Classrooms A/B/C), two computer labs (T2C2-1/T2C2-2), and three auditoriums (Massey, Friends and Patterson). Many of these spaces have been renovated (where necessary) and their technology refreshed. We have devised a 5-year technology refresh cycle for these spaces. We have established technology standards to align with the need and use in each teaching space. These standards are:

(1) High Tech Basic includes 85/90" TV (or projector/screen for larger rooms), video conference camera, wireless sharing (NUC/WePresent), wall mounted PC with HDMI inputs, and wireless mouse/keyboard. Larger spaces are equipped with sound re-enforcement and handheld/lavaliere microphones.

(2) High Tech Enhanced includes everything in the High Tech Basic Setup plus lecture recording (Kaltura) 85/90" TV (or projector/screen for larger rooms), video conference camera, wireless sharing (NUC/WePresent), wall mounted PC with HDMI inputs, and wireless mouse/keyboard. Larger spaces are equipped with sound re-enforcement and handheld/lavaliere microphones. Some rooms include a small podium but full-size podiums in auditoriums.

(3) High Tech Team-Based Learning (TBL) includes everything in the High Tech Enhanced plus a document camera, a full-size podium, and multiple 55" TVs for student team collaboration.

(4) High Tech Video Teleconferencing (VTC) includes multiple video conference cameras placed strategically in the front and the back of the room. Uses hard codec for teleconferencing.
