It was nice meeting you during Day 1 orientation. As discussed, the rest of your orientation will be self-driven on Saba, our online learning system. As explained during the orientation, once the Webex session closes, attendance is reviewed, and then your Saba courses are assigned. You will see your courses by 2 p.m. If you do not see your courses in Saba by 2 p.m., email neo@uchc.edu for further direction. Below is the schedule of the mandatory courses we ask you to complete.
Day 1: 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.
UConn John Dempsey Hospital Secured Unit - Medicine/Surgical 5 if assigned, complete first:

Next Steps
For Day 1, once you complete your mandatory Saba courses, you are done with your training for the day.
For Day 2, you will start your day at 8 am by opening Saba, where your assigned mandatory courses as listed as above. You will also see additional training to complete based on your specific UConn Health role. Please complete the mandatory training first, then continue with your other courses until 4:30 pm.
The expectation is that you complete all the mandatory training(s) by the end of Day 2.
It is essential that you complete all your mandatory training before starting in your role. An email will be sent to you and your manager if you do not complete the mandatory training on time.
For the additional training based on your role, the expectation is that they be completed within two weeks of your start date.

If you have difficulty with logging or utilizing Saba, please contact the IT Help Desk at 860-679-4400.
For the best user experience, we highly recommend completing your training on a computer, using Google Chrome web browser both on PC and Mac.
