Campus Planning

• Undertake campus-wide planning and analysis activities including periodic updates
  to the UConn Health master plan for the Farmington campus
• Preparation and management of institutional space and facilities needs assessments
• Assistance with planning of campus-wide systems such as transportation, parking
  and access management
• Liaison to community and governmental entities related to campus planning activities

Construction Project Management

• Manage the scope, schedule and budget for all capital projects
• Selection of design teams
• Manage the design process to assure that the program needs are met and within
  budget of the project
• Assist with contractor pre-qualification and bidding
• Manage the construction phase through completion and turnover

Capital Planning and Renewal

• Capital project development and budgets
• Participation in the development of the University's capital budget plan including
  Deferred Maintenance

Landscape Design Management

• Management of the campus site design and landscape design standards
• Oversight and coordination of site design, landscape design and public art projects
• Provide assistance with pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure and coordination

Space Management

• Manage the Space Inventory Database (FAMIS)
• Provide building and room numbers
• Develop and manage space allocation and feasibility studies
• Support the University space committee
• Maintain CAD floor plans for Space Inventory Database
• Manage space requests and assignments

Sustainability Practices

• LEED and Green Buildings Design

Signage Design Management

• Management of interior and exterior signage design standards
• Management of exterior wayfinding signage

Project Design

• Provide architectural design for small to mid-size construction projects
